I remember DAT tweeting at Tyjon when he decommitted telling him to DM him right away, some were speculating he might try an push Lindsey to Oregon. This quote sums up everything recruits need to know about Coach Williams-

"A perfect example is what happened with DeAnthony Thomas. That's a guy I'm close to and we play a lot alike. At Oregon, he was that situational guy, moved around a lot and had success but when he got to the NFL, he didn't really have a position. He's now playing receiver and has to basically start from scratch in how to play and how to run routes. But guess who's training him, who he picked to teach him how to run routes in the off-season and learn the position, Coach Williams."

Oops. Verdell was the first surprise visitor this weekend. I guess Randal Grimes is in town too. 6'4" WR currently committed to USC

Playing in Vegas I'm wondering if this is one of the guys Lindsey is talking about " bringing guys with him", speculating here but Vegas isn't that big that these guys don't know each other and KW isn't about to get Fitzpatricked again

could be... I think he might be talking about Jamire Calvin as well... which is interesting. Calvin will be interesting to watch because I don't think they take him AND Gavin Holmes and Holmes could be N soon.

I don't envy JC with the spot he's in right now, I also don't think the coaches are holding his place anymore either

5 WR spots...Lindsay, McQuitty, Johnson, Holmes, Calvin?

If you want 5 you get 5 before signing day, and if Lewis wants on board you take 6.

Although with Grimes visiting, that would be a bit of a disruption to that. Who knows at this point...all I know is KW is absolutely killing it right now.

I saw it posted that, according to Rivals, Lindsay is our third highest rated recruit (#41 nationally) behind Baker (#8) and Marlon Lucky (#13).

Interesting. Baker and Lucky didn't play out as 5-stars.

Can't wait to see if this one can live up to the hype.

Not really Baker's fault. He was the #8 player as an OT, not DT.

Baker not playing OL was a huge blunder, he could have been great and we really really needed him to then. IMO Stolt should be playing OL as well

Probably Rafdal but I don't think Walker flips until monday or tuesday.

Shelvin has closed his recruiting after his LSU OV. No more visits. Parella will learn not to go on wild goose chases like this. Bit of a rookie mistake.

I don't think it's a rookie mistake. He knows the type of players we are going to need and I would rather he go after them as to not even try

Not a surprise... Parella didn't go chasing geese though... we still likely end up with 3 very good looking DT commits and Shelvin would have been a 4th.

The problem is lack of DE recruits, however, that's less of an issue now going to the 3-4
