What are your thoughts of doug & iffy being the same person?

Could be. I don't really care. They both say some funny shit from time to time, but neither are notably entertaining, so I don't really think about it much.

I miss Vice. He was very entertaining in a "push the angry crippled kid down the steps" kind of way.

Speaking of Doug though, I was wondering if he could shed some light on why the Tigers are a half game out of the ALc basement and only 1.5 games out of the league basement.

The AL East is going to end up being the only division in the AL that has real competition for the title when it comes down to it.

The AL West is already a lost cause, Houston might have that shit locked up by the end of July

I read the following from some genius on today's daily MLB thread.

I'd also add that I think playing in that shithole division makes the Astros look better than they are. 55% of their games played have been against the ALw and Miami & Atlanta - they're 28-10 in those games.

I'm not saying they're a bad team, but I definitely don't think they're the best team in baseball as their record might indicate.

Reminds me of the 2015 Mets. Overrated as hell because their division was such a shit show that year.

Houston is 24-14 vs non west opponents and 23-10 against the west. So they are a good team regardless, though the suck of the rest of that division will add a few wins for them.

Oddly they are 10-10 against the AL Central (Though that's 1-5 against the Indians and 9-5 against everyone else)

The Indians have been a benefactor of the west too, we are 13-3 against that group of turds.
