Big 12 looks to be stacked, but they have got to have a better year in the tournament than this year. That was disgraceful.

I'm inclined to go with Texas!
Sort of a family tradition.

Excuse me? You do realize that rosters change dramatically from year to year in college BB - right? Trimble will have another year under his belt, Maryland just picked up one of the best recruits at center & also a transfer from Duke who is highly regarded. This will not be the same undermanned team that WVU beat in March Madness last season (before they failed to show up vs. Kentucky). Check your facts before you make your claims.

This doesn't mean that things will pan out this way since preseason polls/odds quite often don't translate into postseason results. However - Maryland should be a major contender next season.

The 50 Best Players in College Basketball for 2015-2016 | The Big Lead

Really? Check the link above. I realize that this is just one opinion, but I believe that you will find similar opinions elsewhere. Maryland has 3 players in the top 40 on that list & that doesn't even include Sulaimon who transferred from Duke & should make a big contribution. I don't see even one WVU player on that list - no even in the honorable mention section.

Granted - there could be different opinions elsewhere. However - if WVU is "way more loaded than Maryland" shouldn't they at least show up on this list? It sounds like you are getting all of your info from the WVU PR dept.

Also BTW - if WVU is that much better than Maryland then why do other outlets/polls also have them rated way behind Maryland? Example - the latest ESPN preseason poll shows WVU at 20 & Maryland at # 1.

Again - these things could pan out much different during the actual season & there is more to success than simply talent on paper. However - I believe you are completely underrating Maryland's current talent & basing things predominately on the Maryland team from last season which is likely a much different team than the one that they will field during the upcoming season.

Melo Trimble probably won't have a concussion again.

And the Terps are really really stacked this season.

Actually UK has become the favorite now at 5/1 while Duke has slipped to 8/1. This was updated recently from the April odds.
I'd still put a couple of hundred on Duke and UK and have a pretty good shot to make out like a bandit

I really like the idea of putting $50 each on Duke, Kentucky, UNC, and Villanova. You win at least $100 profit if one of the four wins (and as much as $950 if Villanova wins), and realistically, I think the odds are probably around 75% that one of these four wins the title. To me, UNC is the best bet.
