Zverev vs. Fritz, and Tomic vs. Young, might be fun.

Sock does not like Lascko. He was so aggravated the last time they played because Lucas came out like a house of fire and pressed Sock the whole time.

So you're saying Sock doesn't like aggressive players? ;)

Some really intriguing match ups today.

Isner/Baghdatis & Coric/Monfils are the ones that I'm most looking forward to.

They ended up not being as intriguing as they looked on paper

Muller vs. Paire is the only one left, live.

I'll try watching this tourney another day.

Sorry - I was MIA for the second half of yesterday. Wasn't able to watch the Monfils match, but watched Isner and Sock, both had very comfortable wins.

As of now, given that Isner's only career titles have been in ATP 250 level events, and that he's been a 3 time finalist in Washington (2007 - Roddick; 2013 - Nadal; 2015 - Nishikori), the only interesting outcome for this tourney would be for Isner to play in the Finals, and hopefully win it.

This would be his biggest title, since it's a 500 level event.

It would be cool to see Steve Johnson win a 500 event, but he's not likely to, given the remaining players left, IMO.

Monfils vs. Karlovic Finals.

Monfils only has 5 ATP titles. All have been at the 250 level.

He has 3 500 level Finals (Japan 2010 to Nadal; Washington 2011 to Stephanek; Rotterdam 2016 to Klizan).

He has 3 Masters 1000 Finals (Paris 2009 to Djokovic; Paris 2010 to Soderling; Monte Carlo 2016 to Nadal).

IMO, wishing he gets his first 500 title would still be less than what he's expected to do. He should have gotten a 500 title by now. It's just too late in his career to be special, as he should have already done this.

Karlovic has 7 250 titles.

He's never played for a 500 title.

I'll root for him, given his age (37), and more limited game. It's a bigger achievement for him.
