2015 Suicide League Discussion

May 16th Draft
As discussed on another thread, we plan on having this year's Suicide draft on May 16 - one month from this posting.

Members
Most everyone from the A league is returning, however I have not heard from Chef and Monkey.
Suicide A: tlance, Fuzzies, Treff, Foot, Lefty, Chef, Ram, TKO, Sam, Barilko(/Wil), Joe, monkey

All I know about the B league is bksballer, Trudem and obxyankeefan have confirmed.
Suicide B: Steelers, Trudem, bksballer, bandit, jd, Micro, SFNL, Milk, Xpo, obxyankeefan, silver, Smitty.

If there are any openings, we will need spots for Wil, Duff and Dawg.

Draft Order
We could have Treff activate the "randomizer," or because we may be in the unique situation where all 12 A leaguers return, we could draft in the reverse order of the standings? I'm not married to either idea. But here's the final standing in the A:

My initial opinion would be random, but honestly have no real preference.

Is the 16th set in stone,because I have a Church function the 15th thru 17th.

Dawg, we actually use the SportsHoopla message board to do the draft. It's slow. Sometimes very slow. Last year it took 18 days for all 14 rounds of 168 players. But easy buddy.... we need to see if there's a spot for you.

As for the B league, JD has left the MBBRL group, I think silver is no longer part of SportsHoopla, and haven't seen SFNL since he helped me stay in SportsHoopla...

So I will assume the B league will be looking for at least 3 more owners...

I would think Shady should be on top of the list with Wil and Duff,

And I am sure Dawg will get in too...

Any way is fine with me - although if there are members that will be unavailable that weekend, then they could potentially be moved to the bottom. ..... assume 'coma' will follow within a couple of weeks of completion. ....

Yea that could work, but either way is gonna take around 3weeks, so if the rest of us have to wait a day for them to be around, no big deal to me. ..or could always adjust the start date

With the new CBA, I think arrested should be our biggest worry. No hitting in practice and whimpy suspension rules as far as timing goes.
