Back to back Big wins for UNC. A win tonight and they should be a #2 or #3 seed. Cant wait for this game.

Not saying that at all. What I'm saying is that it won't be some highway robbery like some on here are suggesting if Duke gets a 1 seed because it will be deserved. There are about 7 teams who deserve a # 1 seed based on their resume (assuming Wisconsin/Zona win their conference title game).

No way is Carolina moving up to a 2 seed. The highest they're going is to a 3 seed. What 2 seed are they jumping? Let's say the 1 seeds are Kentucky, Nova, Virginia, & Wisconsin/Arizona. Which 2 seed are you jumping them over? Wisconsin/Zona, Duke, Gonzaga, or Kansas?

I don't even think Notre Dame jumps to a 2 seed. I think they're locked in as a 3 seed while Carolina IMO is a 4 seed if they lose and maybe jumps to a 3 with a win

I wouldn't assume that at all. East coast bias is very real. I find it unlikely that Arizona will get a one over either of those teams.



Your take is probably the right one. But this is Duke. They are not going to be a 2 seed and you know it. Hell, they got a 3 seed last year when they were more like a 5 or 6 seed with the way that they played all year.

That name is worth at least one seed line, and I fully expect them to get a 1.

Five Wins against Top-25, two of which came against potential #1 seeds on their home court. Only Kansas has more wins against Top 25 teams. Douggie, I'm very much on record saying that Duke has the best collection of wins in the country. My point was that, even if you felt like that loss last night was going to drop them down, they are Duke and it won't. I'm not saying they should be a 2 and we should definitely be a 1 and if it wasn't for east coast bias it would 100% be that way.

You don't have to point out that Arizona hasn't faced a tough schedule to me. I'm well aware of that. I've never said they have. But I am confident that if they had gone through the ACC their record would not be much different. They lost three road games against crappy teams, and mostly dominated the good teams they faced. Those brain farts in a normal season wouldn't hurt them, but this year it is what is keeping them from being ahead of Nova for sure. I don't disagree with that. Just happens to be 6 teams deserving of a 1 seed, and also happens to coincide with a year the Pac was awful.

But Notre Dame doesn't have a better record than Duke. Sure they won 2 of 3 head to head. But they play other teams to get a "record". Duke had a better conference record as well as an overall record. By your logic you've just admitted Duke is better than uNC since they swept their asses this season. Thanks for the compliment!

Are you hoping, or predicting? There have been plenty of years where I thought Duke was overrated/overseeded. Can't say this is one of them. If they end up a 2 I think they'd be a good FF pick if you're looking for a way to differentiate your bracket in the office pool.

Michigan st and purdue are decent wins. they are a 3 no matter what happens tonight though imo
