2014 Preferred Walk-Ons

Thought this deserved its own thread apart from the recruiting threads. Nebraska adds walk-ons around this time of year and they are doing it pretty quickly. I'll be updating as I hear more... as of now this is what I have:

What is the difference between a Preferred walk on and your regular, every day, run of the mill walk on? I knew this answer once and can't remember it at all.

Yup, no shared DNA.... so we are free to share DNA.

Preferred walk-on is recruited just like any other recruit but they are not offered a scholarship. They aren't guaranteed a spot on the team but their chances are better than just the average joe that decides to walk on. So he's a commit without a scholarship basically.
