I'm a little late to the party because I had to DVR the game...but what an amazing ending. I was not expecting that at all. Hopefully Minnesota can take home a national title on Saturday :yahoo:

No kidding. I couldn't believe some of the plays he made, both with the puck and defensively. His defensive play that led to Union's goal to go up by 2 after Minnesota brought their lead down to 1 was incredible. Taylor Cammarata, the kid that tried to toe drag him, is no joke and has incredible hands, and he just shut him down on that play.

I do wonder what the learning curve will be like for him at the next level. It seems like there is a much tougher learning curve for defensemen in the NHL. He certainly has the skill set to be a good player, and I look forward to seeing him play more.

Cammarata is a True Freshman. He was a 3rd round pick of the Islanders in 2013. He's a little guy, something similar to Gaudreau in size. I'm not taking anything away from Gostisbere, but I want to see what he can do against the big boys.

I'd be curious to find out what the ratings were like in Canada, I know Flames fans were tuning in to watch Johnny Hockey in the first semi-final game.

Considering OSU shit the bed before it even started, I am impressed with this. And pretty proud.
