The rain is ending and looks clear for the next few hours. Time for some racing under the lights

With all these drivers hanging around doing nothing but eating it would be terrible to start racing and then have to take a huge dump. I know if you couldn't hold it you'd just have to go in your pants but what if you won? That be an awkward post race interview.

You would think this, but we were in Charlotte one year with a rain delay and a late restart. Well, the race was resumed, but then called at 12:30 am or 1 am due to a quiet hour ordinance in the town/city of Concord. I think there was less than 50 laps to go and JJ was leading. Imagine that.

but I think a couple years ago they finished the 500 around 2 am which is where I came up with that #

Judging by the way that radar looked when they showed it. They should be able to get it in.

Track will be totally different for the night race. From hot and slick to tons of grip! Should be lots of passing

I caught three, but in my defense, I did not fish the entire time. I fished for about an hour and a half. The rest of the time I shot the shit with my bro and drank.

Track will be totally different for the night race. From hot and slick to tons of grip! Should be lots of passing

only at the restarts from yellows. they will get single file & follow the leader for 100's of miles. Then wreck each other at the end. I wouldn't get my hopes up for an exciting race. That went away with the tandem draft.

Honestly I can't blame them for playing follow the leader for most of the 500. No need for dangerous 3 wide racing at Daytona or Dega as all that leads to is many wreck cars before the halfway point
