Nobody ever spins things... everything is fact and "Offical"
Well he was an elected "official" so I guess that does make everything he says "official".

Well, 2 things:
1. I believe Papa asked me what I would be doing.
2. And most importantly (no offense Papalou) no one gives a shit what you have to say but that hasn't stopped you. So I guess I will continue my quest to be just like the best and smartest poster on our board and completely disregard what anyone gives a shit about and keep talking.
no offense taken, I didnt realize you were boycotting the TD Am.
No worries. It is a just a personal thing with me. I am not dumb enough to think the ballpark or the CWS is suffering because I am not going.
Jed will NEVER go into TD Ameritrade Park. Because we had a GREAT park in Rosenblatt Stadium. And the big shots in Omaha and NCAA said they wanted something new and a corporate feel.
Here is some info on the "Blatt".....Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Thanks Wiki!!
You are right Mike, I will continue my boycott of the new stadium.
Also, at the risk of getting back into an old argument, the NCAA was not the ones asking for a new stadium. The was all on Omaha and that corrupt dumb fuck of a Mayor that we had at the time.
Ahh, I am aware of Rosenblatt shutting down. Personally I will miss her but like most things from my childhood they are no longer around either.
I can understand Jed boycotting, don't know if I could be that strong though if I had CWS tics.
My understanding is the zoo is supposed to expand onto that land also isn't it? It is a gem, I have been to many zoos around the nation and none I have been to even come close. I know there are some out there, I just haven't been to them. Henry Doorly has to be top 5 and I hope they get even better with that land.
does the big even play baseball?.....i cant recall to many big teams at the cws
B10 has baseball but the disadvantage their teams have is monumental that their teams usually cant compete. B10 starts the season 4-6 weeks later than Southern and Western schools, they typically are forced to play an inordinate amount of games in a short time span early to catch up with the other schools ( iowa played 23 games in 26 days to start this year) and B10 schools usually spend the first month of the season on the road ( Iowas first home game this year was game #19). That doesnt even factor in to account that most big time baseball recruits arent going to go play somewhere where they cant play all year. I think Purdue this year is the B10's first top 15 team in FOREVER.
