You are right Mike, I will continue my boycott of the new stadium.

Also, at the risk of getting back into an old argument, the NCAA was not the ones asking for a new stadium. The was all on Omaha and that corrupt dumb fuck of a Mayor that we had at the time.

It wasn't just a recommendation from that assclown. It was a personal investment for north downtown Omaha. Guess who owns/owned a bunch of property down in that area? Yep, that corrupt stooge.

And imo, I like the old place better too... umm well, I remember eating a whole bunch of ice-cream at that zesties or zestos? Also have some good memories there. I would make a day of it, zoo, eat, game, eat, then eat some more. Oh yeah, drank a few beers at a little bar a block or less away. Was not much of a place and full of bikers and they did not like us brutha's in there but they came around and it turned out well when they found out who were were.

Well, the people are just like Husker fans are. Some of us see a shiny new object and buy whatever the leaders are selling as gospel. The rest of us see through the bullshit and want the truth. It was never going to be put to a vote. The only real thing the people could do is vote out the assclown. Unfortunately we did not get that satisfaction because after the asshole got the cash flow he wanted and saw that he wasn't going to be reelected he announced that he wasnt going to run for mayor again. Of course he also spun it to where he felt like he had the votes to win but just wanted more time with the family BS.

Michigan was the last team Big 10 team in the CWS in 1984.

The super regionals were started in 1999. Since then a Big 10 team has only made the super regionals 4 times.

Ohio St in 1999 went 1-2 against Cal St Fullerton
Penn St in 2000 went 0-2 against Texas
Ohio St in 2003 went 0-2 against Southwest Missouri St
Michigan in 2007 went 0-2 against eventual champs Oregon St
