Kid could've been playing NBA next year...took a lot of heat for staying at Michigan Snakes University & copping the college degree (against massive odds) he promised his grandmother he'd get. Looks to be a pretty nasty group of American kids invading Russia next month...get that gold, guys!

USA Basketball: Twelve-Man Roster Announced For 2013 USA Basketball Men’s World University Games Team

After departing on July 1, the USA will practice on July 3-6 in Kazan, Russia, including scrimmages on July 4 against Russian basketball club UNICS

That's a strong B1G representation. I'm interested in seeing some of the lineup combinations that will get used. Payne/McDermott/White on the floor would be interesting.

White has been blowing dick so far. Payne also finally just had a good game tonight.

Ferrel has been lighting it up. Set a USA record with 13 assists in the first game and led all scorers with 20 points tonight. Looks like he'll live up to his potential.

Hopefully we do better at the 2016 Olympics. Canadian basketball is definitely on the rise though.
