Swearinger is the guy I wanted, I wouldn't have trusted him to fall back to the beginning of the third. I thought he'd go to the Bengals

Not a huge Swearinger fan. I'm hoping to get my guy in the 3rd.

With the 11th pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, the San Diego Chargers select: Cordarrelle Patterson, University of Tennessee.

Cooper, Rhodes, Trufant & Fluker are still on the board & you take one of the riskiest players in the draft.:help: I'm glad you aren't the GM. If the Chargers take a receiver in the 1st round trading down for Austin would be a better decision.

Austin will probably go in the top 10.

I also like Patterson in the top 20 but not to the Chargers. They have holes everywhere and Rivers has proven that he can throw to pretty much anyone assuming that his oline isnt a total trainwreck.

I'd rather get in OL or CB in round 1 & somebody like Justin Hunter in round 2.

This may turn out to be controversial, but the Saints take Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU.

I'll pm bigpb72, and we may get R2 finished up today.

That's a great pick. I didn't realize he was available until I had already taken Alonso. He's a possible first rounder and you got him very late in the second

Damn, the Saints are switching to a 3-4 next season. Well, there's definitely room for discussion now, lol.

To be fair, I have bust written on Montgomery regardless of position.
He just doesn't stand out on film as I hoped.

I disagree. Plays the run very well, great in contain. Is regaining his speed and quickness after an ACL tear. I think he will be a good all around DE. Never great but good.

There are legit questions about Montgomery's work ethic and effort, including from some of his coaches at LSU. So yes, he has the potential to be a bust - may even be the most likely one in this draft. But he is a good athlete, and he'll be stronger a year removed from the surgery. We'll see where he goes in a couple of weeks.

Montgomery has one heck of a bull rush. I don't think he'll bust. He'll be one of those under the radar players that teams respect but never gets much credit
