Yes this is very true. This was the biggest opportunity of his life only for him to fall short and tie for 3rd. Honestly though, I thought he was going to make that putt to at least force a play-off. I mean the way Sergio choked I thought for sure he would make it

Yep. I don't get the hate for him. The crowd cheered and heckled him on 18 when he hit it in the water even though he had already lost. I didn't understand it.

I don't really like the guy to be honest. He takes toooo long to hit a shot and its rather annoying to watch that! I do feel sorry that he lost the tournament on the 17th hole since he was in contention for the entire time, it's not that I don't like his comments some times and this time it came to bite him majorly.

IMO he has always come across as aloof. From the comments made years ago at Bethpage to the infamous spitting in the cup. If he would have kept his yap shut about Woods, I doubt he would have been heckled at all.

That's because the crowd actually likes Furyk! Sergio has had plenty of run ins with payers and fans and his words aren't making him very popular. Just play your game and only worry about your own game Sergio and maybe you will stop choking
