Fun tournament. Used to go to it every year when I lived down the street from it. Was 2 shots away from Monday qualifying in 2006 when they held it at Mirasol. Moving it to PGA National was the best thing they have ever done, the field used to be weak. Now its one of the best.

Tiger did well through the bear trap yesterday to preserve a spot for the weekend, making the cut on yhe number at E. The lead at the end of yesterday was at -9, but due to inexperience at the top of the board, the effective lead in my eyes is -6 with a lot of players still in touch.

Tiger out early this morning and birdied 2 of his first 3 holes followed by a bunch of pars. of he can get in the clubhouse early at 4, 5 or 6 under, he will be in the mix on sunday
