Alexander gone to Arizona. Hate to see him go, but Washington couldnt give him the $$ or PT. He was a good Redskin. Good luck to him.

Fred Davis also in some serious talks with Cleveland.

Skins reportedly taking a good look at Talib at CB. Will see how that plays out.

Yes, we'll all miss Alexander. Good dude.

Skins sign RT Jeremy Trueblood. He commits a lot of penalties..

Redskins have re-signed LB Bryan Kehl, good special teams guy. Helps soften the blow of losing Lorenzo Alexander.

Well. Patriots re-sign Talib. Not a huge shock there that Washington didn't get him. This looks like it will be the most un-eventful FA period in Redskins history. Thanks NFL for totally fucking us.

Have also read some info that Washington could be one of several teams looking for trade back options to acquire more picks. I believe there were several teams thought be likely suitors, #1 being the Niners. San Fran has a shitload of picks (like 12-13 or something) and won't have nearly that many roster spots. One scenario is that Washington could trade their 2nd rounder for the Niners 2nd rounder (which is later in the round) and another pick (or two). I would be great with that as long as we don't acquire a bunch of late round bench warmer bullshit picks.

Also, D-Hall is still an option for the Skins (at a discounted price). Of course he is open to pursue all options now, but don't be shocked if he still ends up a Skin. I think ultimately that is where he wants to be. Bottom line (Big ??) is if anyone will be willing to pay him much more than Snyder/Allen will??

Tyler Polumbus chooses to stay with the Skins over going to Jacksonville. Skins will return all 5 starters on the O-line now.

i think we'll be OK. The Skins have re-signed a lot of the players from last year's 10-6 division-winning team. Just need to get RG3, Orakpo and Carriker back healthy.

Redskins sign EJ Biggers CB from TB....meh

Don't know much at all about him. A young guy (25) who may be a #3/#4 CB from what I have read. A decent cover guy with ZERO ball skills. He has started some games (for a very bad secondary in TB) so he may even develop into a starter if Wash. is very, very, VERY lucky. Haven't seen any details about the contract. Hope it is on the cheap.

Rob Jackson is facing a 4-game suspension for testing positive for a banned substance. SMH.

I too know nothing about Biggers. I guess he's worth a shot. I'm sure the contract will be cheap.

I love Charlie Campbell's (Walter Football) Redskins mock this week. 4 of the first 5 picks, secondary players. If they don't find some players in this draft back there....it could be very, very, very bad.

2) Swearinger S, USCe
3) Poyer CB, Oregon St.
4) Mathieu CB, LSU
5) Maponga OLB/DE, TCU
5) Jefferson S, Oklahoma

Good move for all parties involved. Welcome back D-Hall!!

I think management is doing as good a job as can be done in FA this year. Just rolling the dice on a few overpaid players, letting them test the FA waters(Davis, Hall, etc.) and for the most part keeping our playoff team together. Next year we can get thru the '13 and '14 drafts and have some cap space to make some moves.
