Opening ceremony fireworks were cancelled tonight due to severe thunderstorms. They did get fan-fest and autographs in earlier today though.

All the above is good, but I'll throw in an upset in the UCLA vs LSU ballgame...3-1 UCLA Game1.

Not beyond the realm of possibilities. UCLA did take Fullerton down in 2.

The crowd will be behind LSU though.

Actually they did set off the fireworks about 10ish after the storms moved out. Couldn't have been many there though.

Indiana's getting lottsa love as one would expect. Some of them haven't shaved since their last loss 3 weeks ago.

Some of the Miss St players haven't shaved in years... look like Grizzly Adams and young man children. I swear that one pitcher looks 35+

Yeah, not shaving's really nothing new regarding superstitions, the red mohawks on Louisville are a sight though.

The last time the Long Beach St Dirtbags were here, they all had bleached hair. Didn't help much...

We are about a month behind and just now getting into our spring-like weather pattern here.

They are calling for a chance of T-storms right about opening game-time this afternoon. I wouldn't at all be surprised to see many games delayed throughout the series.

It's supposed to quiet down for a few hours and then return approx. 3pm (central) with 'scattered' T-storms throughout the rest of the day and evening. I don't expect a washout. Just some delays.

The severity of the storms will depend on if the sun comes out for a few hours and we get some daytime heating. If that happens then they could get nasty.
