Well, the divisional semi-finals are set:

East Semi-final - Montreal vs. Hamilton
West Semi-final - BC vs. Saskatchewan

I think Hamilton and Saskatchewan will advance (but I would like to see BC pull off the upset).

Rumo(u)rs are swirling in Calgary that Thick Nik Lewis may play in the West final. I would be very surprised if he's recovered that quickly from that broken ankle.

if Lions win I dont think its an upset. I believe they are the better team but injuries to Lulay really hurt them down the stretch. Im hoping for a very convincing Lions win and a great West Final in Calgary.

I think the Lions have the better defense (and you know what they say about defense winning championships), I just wonder if the offense can move the ball enough to give the defense a chance to rest. It's going to be tough in the hostile environment of Mosaic Stadium.

its gonna sound downright spiteful but i hope the Lions win just so Geroy gets eliminated

He left for more money and didnt get utlized the way he thought he would with the riders (thus didnt hit the stats this year that would trigger bonuses so he'll end up making about 10k more than what the Lions were offering) ... final nail of regret for him will be if the Lions eliminate his new team

Lions are finally somewhat healthy and they have a legit shot at taking down Regina in Regina. Either of those teams are going to be in tough going into Calgary, though.
Out East it's Toronto's conference to lose. I don't see Montreal nor Hamilton challenging.

they still havent been fully clear on Lulay and his status. and Buck Pierce is a good QB but he is NEVER healthy lol. poor guy. I had a though wouldnt it be neat if Pierce was brought in to be a security blanket and ended up taking the Lions to the Grey Cup and winning, then he retired. I've met him a couple times through the Boys and Girls Club fund raisers and he was a pretty decent guy.
