why would we get Garcia? Our 3 starters would be Minor, Teheran, and Medlen from what I'd assume. Behind that we have Maholm, and Beachy to see if they can get on a run the last month of the season.
I guess they're hoping Garcia can have a few good starts and be put in as a #4 for postseason?

I heard on the radio today that they got him for "just in case." The way the Braves are all going down to injury I can understand why. Heck, before it's over we are going to just promote the Gwinnett Braves up to Atlanta.

Only one challenging series left, and then it's just against bad teams. Braves have to capitalize on this.

I noticed that earlier lol. CFB season is among us.

I managed to watch 3 CFB games and the Braves game at the same time last night.

Didn't look good against the Cards. Have to wonder if the Braves are going to get another early exit from the playoffs. Gonna have to beat teams like the Cards if we are going to get to the WS.

People have told me that this is a new generation of braves, but I have dealt with this crap for 17 yrs, so im not getting excited at all.

Well, we've got to man handle teams like the Cards or else we'll be sent home to momma again.

At least we won't be playing in that stupid 1 game playoff where a stupid umpire can blow a call and cost us a berth in the real playoff games.

Our pitching has always been good enough to do damage in the post season, but im gonna tear stuff up if I see another bases loaded, no outs, no runs scored again. Until they make the WS, they wont get my hopes up. 1996-2005, 2010, 2012 Ive seen this story before. Dominate the reg season, lose in five in round one.

Can't argue with you. We had Maddox, Smoltz, Glavine and Avery and could win only 1 WS title. That is not good.
