Actually we will have the most Seniors next season out of any team that finished in the top 25 this season.

Nebraska - 39 Seniors

Kansas State - 37 Seniors

West Virginia - 35 Seniors

Every other team is below 28........most are below 20.

All in all, 68 Juniors and Seniors will be on the Nebraska roster next season..........

That be a lot. Thar be no way any team in the country returns as much experience as the Huskers.

Every team in the country has Sr. walk-ons.

Nebraska only had 20 Seniors this season, and it showed. We had very little leadership, and it looked like nobody trusted each other out there.

Next season I expect it to be a lot different. Seniors never want to go out on a losing note...........and when you get that many Seniors (scout team or not) together on one team, good things can happen.

I'll be honest, before this season started, I saw our 11 returning starters (with an injured Dennard) and I thought we'd probably only lose 3 games if we were lucky. Realistically, a 3-4 loss season was pretty forseeable.

Looking at next year, I know everyone is going to say losing David and Dennard will equal a worse defense, but I guarantee you the defense will be better.........and in fact, a lot better.

A 2-loss season is realistic next year to me. Especially with all the heat that is being put on Bo.........I see him turning in his best year in 2012, I really do. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if the Huskers won the BIG.

I'm not worried about it. We use our TE's as lead blockers and that is about it. We have a walk-on TE coming in with this class who can handle those duties........it's not too difficult. Same thing as the FB position.

A good TE that can run and catch is extremely important to the offense that NU appears to wanna be. If the signal caller will use them appropriately.

Agreed.........100%

Those TEs were never bluechip TEs though..........every time we ran play action we had a TE running wide open down the middle of the field.......it was just as simple as that.

Our TE production back then could be greatly attributed to the unbelievable blocking that our Offensive Line was able to do. Every team simply thought we were gonna run the ball every single play.

I find it interesting that while Nebraska returns a great number of Seniors, Wisconsin only returns 12.

If we lose to them in Lincoln next year I will actually consider suicide.

Laws of the universe state if a team Blows out a Bo Pelini team, they will lose to them the following season.

I know it may seem like I'm going into full homer mode, but just looking at our schedule, I think it sets up really well for us.

We have Ohio State, Michigan, and Michigan State all in a 4 game period.

There is no way we are going to lose all 3 of those games in a matter of a few weeks. Just aint gonna happen. We could lose 2.........probably will lose 1 of them.
