Honestly we shouldn't be in this dilemma at LB, or any position especially, let alone on defense. Remains to be seen how they pan out in a year or two.

I think we get in these dilemmas because of other dilemmas. For instance, this year we're going heavy on LBs........now 2 years from now we'll probably find ourselves needing to load up on OL or DB or something else due to the fact that we focused so much on LBs this year.

Not the most perfect scenario for getting future LB's in next few classes knowing we will be top heavy at that specific position, similar to what we have at RB right now. The way I see it, fwiw. Very few of the immediate impact recruits are willing to redshirt right off the bat, I don't know how the SEC schools cope with the classes they pull in year after year

Thats exactly what happens.... How can you signs 25 or more kids a year and have 80 or 85 ships available(Is it 80 or 85 allowed?).... Numbers dont add up.... Thats 100 ships or more over 4 years...

With the new self imposed 25 limit in the sec it should help level the field in a few years, if I had to guess I would bet that every team will go ahead and sign no less than say 25 every year

it's an 85 scholly limit.

I do like the B1G rule with allowing teams to take in 3 more guys than they graduate out. This rule does allow for those unforeseen things like transfers, early entries, non-qualifiers, en sech...

I do like that rule. It will allow us to take a class upwards of 20 this year. ME LIKEY!

LSU decommit Davante Bourque has been offered by N

Bourque 6'3" 205 ATH is a 4*

Would look great palying S for N

6-3??? jesus put that fucker at safety and let him play like polomalu!!!

6-3 200 pound 4* RB Davante Bourque decommitted from LSU and is planning a trip to nebraska

Is chuck smokin the good stuff or what?

He replies to Snick's original post about Bourque, and then like 10 hours later he announces the same thing that Snick did

:pound:

This Bourque feller has a different side to him...........he seriously could end up choosing Nebraska, I wouldn't be surprised one bit.

He has tremendous potential.

Sounds like Bourque wants to play immediately next year, the standard SEC recruiting pitch should snap him up in no time. With our situation at RB I can hardly vision him coming here.
