Good news for Nebraska for next season.

Since 2008, Tennessee-Chatanooga has played against the Heisman trophy winner and one of the teams in the national title game during that season.

2008- Sam Bradford Oklahoma
2009- Mark Ingram Alabama
2010- Cam Newton Auburn
2011- ??? Nebraska???

Honestly, with the exception of the now scheduled opening game, the first half of Nebraska's schedule is going to tell us quite a bit about how the season is gonna turn out.

I hate to start looking ahead already, but it's hard not to when our bowl game excites me less than the game against Tennessee-Chattanooga next season

I think the best chance from our team is Martinez.......when he can run (something he couldn't do since the Missouri game) he can do a lot of things. He was no where near 100% in that Big 12 Championship game. In fact, he wasn't 60%.

He was already a Heisman candidate for a brief period of time as a Freshman.......if he can stay healthy, and use his experience from this season, I think his role in this offense allows him the best chance.

LOL........I'm just sayin, I think Taylor Martinez has an easier road towards becoming a Heisman candidate than does Burkhead
