The only thing that didn't meet or exceed my expectations was Lewis' ERA (I expected Lewis' K rate to come down a bit), and maybe Ogando's K rate

But if you had told me at the beginning of the year that Holland, Harrison and Ogando would put up these numbers I would've been very happy

Very solid numbers all around, only real blemish is Lewis's ERA, and Ogando's if you take into account what it was around the AS break. Overall though, excellent season for Rangers SP.

But if going into the year someone told you that Ogando would pitch 169 innings and have an ERA of 3.51, would your initial response have been disappointment?

Not at all, I think he's going to have a great season next year.

he HAS to develop an effective changeup, and be willing to use it more, for that to happen

Very good year for our pitching staff. Cant wait to see the playoff roster.
