I think to elaborate a little further on RA's list, we don't need ALL of that to happen, but if a handful of those things happen they are going to help Nebraska considerably.

Yea yea yea, I'm still just focused on seeing the Huskers win the Big 12 also..........but who in the hell doesn't wanna dream?? That's the funnest part about college football

All that is absolutely necessary is Nebraska to win out and one of the two AQ's to lose.

Parts of the rest will help NU overcome the undefeated AQ's and other one loss teams..

This would be phenomenal to happen but forget all this above for now, let's assume we win out and go to Fiesta, what will some of these losses due to help us get a different opponent in the Fiesta, as I have not heard anyone get to excited about playing Pitt or their conference rep?

this is sad to say but in losing the second runner up in the big 12 will play a higher ranked team than the winner will.

I heard today on radio that the big east champ will have at least 4 losses and that if the standings were simular to what they are now, TCU and Boise St would not qualify for BCS game over the Big East champ.

As you can see TCU dropped from #3 to #4 in both the AP and Coaches Polls.

Their lackluster performance against San Diego St coupled with Oregon St, Baylor, and Utah losing has created doubt in the minds of the humans. Wait til' the BCS computers get ahold of them.

Boise also holds crappy Oregon St as one of their trophy wins over BCS competition (ouch). They are now holding on to Va Tech as their only quality win, with ranked Nevada (in two weeks) as a possible quality win.

LOL..You could only wish it were that easy. Oregon could win yet not cover the spread.

If I fake like I'm going to bet on Oregon.........like I talk all day like I'm going to do it so that they put together their plans for allowing Oregon to win but not cover, and then I would bet right at the last second on Arizona covering instead.

Yea......that might work. They would be cornfused and then Arizona would win and I would win the bet too. Win/Win
