I ended up in a tie....
UK: 26-24-32-26 = 108

He wouldn't have to, I could play zone, and since Mutombo is no threat offensively, and that unit has no bombers, I could play 1-3-1 and have Cooper shadow him. Now, how is a front line of Mutombo and Melo gonna stop Moses and Cowens from owning the boards at both ends? And Melo has gone against the best wing defenders and abused them. How would Cowens have a shot out there? Melo has spent a lot more time defending the post than Cowens has the perimeter.
Here are my thoughts for the 5 in each OT, Do you guys find these acceptable? If not let me know who would play
Frazier
Drexler
Pierce/English?
Duncan
Hakeem
Magic
Gervin/Wade?
King
Cowens
Malone

Dude, are you joking or what? Mutombo the best rebounder of the 4? Mutombo career average was 10.3 rpg. His best season was 14.1. Moses career average was 12.3 and his best season was 17.6. Plus Moses scored alot more. Anthony career averageis 6.6 rpg, best season 8.1. Cowens career average was 9.8, best season 12.4. You are CRUSHED on the boards with Melo at the 4Zone in the NBA? I don't see that ever working. Mutombo is the best rebounder out of the four and I've seen Melo more than hold his own on the boards at PF. I've seen every game he's played since he's come to the Knicks. He's better at the 4 than the 3.

What's your point? Mutombo is 8th all time, guess who is 5th?? I'll give you 3 guesses but you'll only need one, Moses. And yet...the Knicks have never won squat with Melo playing the 4...or the 3 for that matterMutombo is 8th all time in rebounding percentage, which is much more representative than career averages. And you can't look at Melo's career average playing the 3 until the last few seasins where he has split time. I can tell you watching the games the Knicks have never been hurt on the boards with Melo at the 4. Never.

Moses and Cowens would crush Mutombo and Anthony on the boards. Crush. At any rate, we're pretty close, how bout we flip for it and start baseball? The Knicks won over 50 games and should have made the ECF with a competent coach and Melo played the 4 that whole season. Any winning arguments are ludicrous the second best player he's ever played with is probably Porzingis already lol. Iverson was at the end of his rope in Denver. Only other argument is billups who is not even in the top 20 of his position all time. You used career averages to suggest Moses and Mutumbo aren't close rebounding when they're pretty much a wash. And again Melo is one inch shorter and much stronger than Cowens. Sure you have a rebounding edge but crushed isn't happening.

That is a fun overtime. I give 500 the 2,4,5 spots, UK 1 and 2. The biggest gap is the point guard though. If I ranked them I would go
1. Magic 2. Hakeem, 3. Duncan, 4. Malone, 5. Drexler, 6. Cowens, 7. Wade, 8. Gervin, 9. Pierce, 10. Frazier.
I might be undervaluing Frazier though, I think I go 500 in a very close one

I'm pretty pissed at coins considering my favorite team's luck with them over the last two years
I would say Clyde is no worse than 7
I'd go 1 Magic 2 Hakeem 3 Duncan 4 Malone 5 Gervin 6 Wade 7 Drexler 8 Cowens 9 Frazier 10 Mutombo. That said, Wade, Drexler and Gervin would all be close, as would Hakeem, Duncan and Malone. Biggest mismatch is Magic, IMOFrazier

I think Frazier is awesome. I also think Magic was better than MJ, so I may be derangedPlease get what I'm saying and I'm not saying Magic would be contained but Frazier is 6 foot 4 and one of the best defensive PGs of all time. Not many others PGs can match up as well IMO.
