Not kidding....that's a pretty salty/solid line against one of the best hitting teams in the game.

Not at all..... I'd take that every time from just about anyone except you'd probably expect more from Kershaw, Sale, or scherzos, but that is a select elite group and it's not fair to compare him to those guys. Hell of a job by nick and I'd like nothing more than to see this team not waste it by pulling out the win. The Astros really want this one, you can tell because they put Devenski out there again, he's pretty much there clutch reliever.

Still wish odor would take a walk every few games. Would help him get better pitches to hit. I agree with you about chirinos. I think we could trade Lucroy and be just fine at catcher and I used to not like chirinos, but he's definitely gotten better.

But I tell ya what. Last night was his best night as a Ranger EVER IMO. 3 hits, 2 HRs, 3 very good defensive plays and some terrific hustle on the bases. More, more please.

Good to know that in regard to this series we are playing with house money. I know a sweep would be really awesome, but either way the result down here wasn't too bad.

Of course I'd much rather be 10 games back than 12

And the silver boot be 4-6 instead of 3-7.

Win today also sweeps the road trip. Who would've guessed or put money on that? I thought we'd go 1-5 or 2-4.

Let's just get the win today and enjoy an off day tomorrow.
