^ Pretty cool list.
What is amazing is that Ziggy Palffy was so high up on the list since he only lasted part of one season.

^^ I was thrilled when coming out of the season-long lockout, they announced the signing of Ziggy. And if I remember correctly, he was skating on a line with LeClair and Sid for a little while, and they were all piling up points with the 18 year old wunderkind. Then, Ziggy retired in January of that season due to what he claimed was a shoulder injury. But, he ended up playing hockey again in Europe.

It was fun to stroll down memory lane with this list and remember all of the Pens, past and present during these past seasons since Sid entered the league. What a ride he's had, already.

That team should have been better than it was, honestly. But they were too old and didn't have enough depth to keep the old men rested. And, of course, they were a bit thin on the blue line.

Miro Satan is also higher on the list than I'd expect, since he played so little the only season he was here. He was pretty good in the playoffs, though.

I think that 05-06 team was one of my all time favorites because it had such a variety of old and in some cases, future hall of famers (Lemieux, Recchi, Gonchar) and young and energetic youth (Sid, Fleury, Orpik, Talbot). Their defense was pretty bad, but they could score goals. Gonchar on the power-play and anchoring the blue-line made things finally look at least hopeful for the future, and of course Sid looked great.

Ah memories :)
