After catching both games this weekend, I'd actually put more of the blame on the Penguins coaching than individual performance (not counting the ridiculous amount of penalties from Saturday). It wasn't until the sixth period in the two game span when they realized "hey, the Devils are collapsing down low while we're on offense, maybe we slide a third guy closer to the blue line to take the shots that they're giving us."
The chances were there, but the Devils staff really helped their guys out by making the right adjustments. Those guys from Jersey deserve the crown... for now.
Completely agree, Bylsma XO's leaves much to be desired.
The Pens still haven't learned how to enter the offensive zone when their chip and chase at the blue line is taken away.
