That was a great pick for Dallas to get Lamb. I cant believe he slipped that far down. Arguably the best WR in this draft class. What the hell are the Raiders doing? I can see Ruggs but Arnette? I was happy to see the Vikgs not take an OT and gaining an extra 4th round pick in the trade down. Its time to work out a deal with the Vikgs for TW. They have the picks. Even if we have to take Reiff, we should make it work.

6 Wr's went in the first round. Im thinking another 6 will go in the 2nd. Lets see if we can move TW today. Another Darkhorse team is the Pats for TW. Loaded with picks in the 3rd and 4th rounds. Four 3rd round picks. Cmon Pats give us two of them.

I can’t believe how wrong the talking heads were. Wirfs was fourth after being hyped big time. Ezra and Josh both were not selected.

I can’t believe Ruggs was first WR off the board. Completely insane.

After all he talk of trades at the beginning of the draft, the first one didn’t occur until the middle.

The last big surprise to me was KC. With Swift and Taylor on the board, they select LSU.

I do find the irony involved in GB’s pick funny.

Erza and Josh were late first early 2nd round prospects. Wirfs dropped b/c the Giants took Thomas which led to the Cardinals taking Simmons. The Cardinals were supposed to take an OT but couldn't pass on Simmons. Which is understandable. The first wrench in the draft was the Giants passing on Simmons.

The Raiders and 49ers both passing on Lamb was insane. I know the 49ers picked up a 4th to move down one slot but I think Lamb is a way better prospect than Aiku. The 49ers really wanted Kinlaw. Cowboys got the steal of the 1st round and its not even close.

I actually like what Minnesota and niners done. How the hell does Lynch keep getting these dumbass teams to trade up ONE spot? I also think Jefferson was a steal

True but they passed on Lamb when they only have Samuel on the roster.

They picked ayek (*sp) though. I’m not that high on lamb myself. I kind of agree with coach. I know what the big 12 has to offer when it comes to defense

True. They did well but I thought Lamb was a must have for a WR needing team. The funny thing is if the Raiders took Lamb would the Cowboys taken Ruggs? I don't think so.

looked like Al Davis was still drafting for the raiders. I didn’t like what they done. Lamb is a great #3 for the girls

Perhaps, they see a greater need in replacing their DT and had him rated higher than Lamb. Perhaps, they looked at the numbers and the difference between Lamb, Aiyuk, and Jefferson was negligible. Maybe, they simply weren’t impressed with Lamb.

I agree but all we heard was Cleveland loved Ezra and I saw Josh being the fifth ranked OT in many drafts. All that all about four OTs going in the top ten or 12 was crap. While being a deep OT class, I don’t think it was a dominant one. I am interested in seeing where these two fall.

Why did Wirfs drop if he was the top rated OT? Because he was never the top rated OT.

I don’t follow you with Thomas, Simmons, and the Cardinals. What are you claiming would have changed if NYG had taken Wirfs instead of Thomas?

Why is it insane? It should actually tell you about professional evaluations of Lamb.

The Browns wanted Erza in a trade down. They didn't trade down b/c Wills fell in there laps. The Giants reached for Thomas. Where did you see Wirfs as the top rated OT? If he Giants took Simmons the draft would of changed. If the Raiders took Lamb the draft would of changed.

Somebody claims the Browns wanted Ezra...doesn’t make it so.

If a guy is projected to be the first OT taken, he is the top rated OT.

The NYG were never really looking at Simmons from what I saw.

But the Raiders did not...which tells me they had Ruggs ranked higher.

I can think of 4.27 reasons why they would.

The Cowboys got a real good one in Lamb, but what's the old saying; You can't teach 4.27. I have a hard time criticizing the Ruggs pick.

4.3. Even he had a 975 yard season.

Heh. The Vernon Davis comparison was valid in the OJ Howard thread. Though I have to say. I thought VD never achieved anywhere close to his potential. I thought he was gonna be a true stud.

You're doin too much, way too much with Heyward -Bey. After that 975 yard season, his best was 606 yards and in his other 8 seasons he never cracked more than 366 yards. He also only scored 16 TDs in his career and 9 of those came in 2 seasons.

And here's to hoping @coach_spurrier_1 is on point about Lamb playing against shitty big 12 competition. Every single talking head I've heard opine on Lamb though are poppin woodies left n right when they do it.
