Oh, I agree. Although it says something that even after he lost his athleticism advantage the D was still way better with him out there. Basketball is stupid now still. KG is the single most influential sports person in my life, I doubt I am even that big if a fan of the game without him.

The idea that Kobe was better because he played with a a series of future HoF players is still stupid in my mind. Outside of late in Kobes career, where he lost in fantastic fashion, KGS best teammates in his prime(Twolves) would be the 4th best player on any Kobe team.

Even with a far superior team around him Kobe needed Cassells back injury to luck into the gimme against the sixers

If Kobe plays for the AI/Brown 76ers he might have broken the 100pt record... He was so great even on teams where he was miscast and restrained he managed to be one of the greatest of all time... You put him on a team where everyone's job is to play D, rebound hit an open 3 if he passes it out like Larry Brown did for AI and the possibilities are endless...

How about we do the modern with 2 WC's and do the 24 minute Max. I like that rule because one guy can't win it for you. Also, no WC's can be taken in round 1, and anytime a GM takes a WC, he must pick a current player before selecting another WC (no back to back WC picks)
