Big reason why he didn't re-sign in LA after his deal expired in 2004, he felt he didn't get the protection from his teammates or the league being on a WC team.

I tend to agree - when Randy Robitaille goes after Denis Gauthier because he destroyed Palffy there is a problem. Guys like Kip Brennan, Brad Norton and Ken Belanger should have done their job.

Instead, they came here, collected their checks, frosted their hair and left.
