A couple years ago I was arguing with my son, and I found myself saying this exact quote:

"You can't have any more broccoli until you've eaten all your pizza." I immediately realized what had come out of my mouth, and a new rule was made - he could eat as many veggies as he wanted, no matter how much pizza was left on his plate.
