Stealth, I think you're reading too much into this one. Sabres took a few shots on Hank because they're a joke of a team, and 1 goal got by him because even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. I think Hank was fine, like you said it's really all about wins and losses. Hank got the win, so no need to cut down his performance.

Still don't think he's worth $59.5 million over the next 7 seasons tho (no goalie in the league is worth that much), that's sort of crazy.

Also, before anyone mentions it, I don't think Kris Letang is worth $58 million over 8 years. That contract is nuts as well.

I wasnt cutting down Hanks performance I was saying he didnt see much rubber the first 2 periods he could have had a shutout but no big deal, who is next?

Looked better in net in this game after signing the contract. Wish he would have shut them out but idk why he played that puck off the boards instead of to just a forward or defensemen.
