Workmanlike effort....

This was never really in doubt.

WVU cannot run the ball.

Texas ran the ball at will pretty easily.

It was just a matter of time before their passing game made mistakes.

Texas was content to let them throw and wait for the mistakes.

WVU scored 2 meaningless TDS late versus a prevent defense/Texas deep reserves in the late embers of the game.
Both were in the last 5 minutes when Texas was up 3 touchdowns and simply looking to avoid injuries.

When the game was in doubt in the 2nd/3rd quarters, the Texas defense dominated.
WVU could not move the ball at all and turned it over.

Heck, they even held WVU to a 2 yard drive, when they started at the Texas 15.

The defense played really well today.
I dont read too much into late desperation drives versus prevent reserve players.

Never in doubt? You had 4 picks and 3 of got you inside our 25 yard line yet still you only won by 11. We had 2 garbage time touchdowns and you had 1. We missed 2 field goals and you missed one. So you ether didn’t watch the game or are just pretending to be stupid because if Kendall doesn’t throw stupid passes you likely lose.

Next year might not be so bad. The team is young but gaining experience. Another 2 OOC P5 sure but both look like they can be winnable. Plus 5 home conference games.

But yeah, this year will certainly be tough. I’m still holding out hope for 6 wins but we almost certainly need to win Saturday.
