Just got my draft slot for my big money league. 10th pick out of 10. Any thoughts what I should do? Initially I wanted Bree's since it's high scoring for Qbs, but this kind of forces me to do other things.

If you are picking last, you usually get the 11th pick also and it goes back down the line.

You better be thinking 10th AND 11th picks

Yes I get 10 11. 30 31. 50 51. I did a mock earlier. I have always wanted at least one superstar player that can always be counted on. The players picked were Lacy. Dez. Cobb. A.brown. T Richardson. Radhaad jennings.

I actually like that but could have gotten MUuray BAll or BRees at 11. There were just no appealing Rbs at 30 and the Wrs looked to good. I could have gotten v. Davis at 51 but there are so many tight ends now.

Sounds like a homer comment, but Dez and Murray are guys to look at in that spot.

Yep both should be there. I used to like my flex position as a RB, but since the running back by comittee has began the WRs see, more consistent. I still know I have to take a back with that first pick though if not 2 from what I saw at 30. Now I didnt mind Richardson at 50. Heck he could be huge , but who knows.

You aren't going to target him there, but IMO the guy to get this year, relative to when he will be taken, is Julio Jones. I am going to do my darnedest to get him in every league.

I may - I want to have 1 star at least- thats why I dont really want to go Lacy, Murray, Ball. 2 of the 3. If I dont take a WR there, I will miss out on top 6 at least probably- Calvin, AJ, Dez, Julio, Thomas, Marshall

I don't like where he is projecting to go this year (5/6th WR). At that spot, it seems extremely risky for a guy that broke the same bone with screws inserted from a previous injury. From a guy who owned him last year, I don't think I'd touch him until guys like Jordy Nelson, Antonio Brown or Alshon Jeffrey are off the board. I think the price becomes reasonable around where guys with limited upside would go (Welker, Cruz, Roddy White's of the world).
I'm in a 12 team, 0.5ppr and am sitting at #2, which means I get #23 & #26. I'm sure Julio will make it to me, and I intend to pass.

YOu know Im not a Cowboys fan but I'd be all over Murray/Dez at 10 and 11. Im assuming he's from Texas and that alway means Cowboys will be picked higher then they should so he might not have that opportunity. I think Dallas has a top O and a lower level D. I think Cowboy players are going to be great FF prospects because they are going to have to put up points. And to be honest, if I had 10/11 and landed Dez/Murray I would target Romo later in your draft. THe Cowboys are going to be a great team for FF players this year. Lastly, Dez is going in to his final season of his first contract. He is going to be a stud this year.

just did another mock- They will both be there. For some reason I cant pull the trigger on Murray that high. I took Dez, Rogers . Came back at 30, 31 with Gronk, A. Brown. Thats rolling the dice not taking a RB until pick 50. There just isnt anything appealing at 30, 31 in terms of RBs. Definitely not liking this slot

are you in a PPR league? If so you might want to reconsider on Murray. Curious though. Who did you take at 11?

I took Aaron Rodgers at 11. No its not a PPR. 1 pt for 10 yds 6 for TD .

My theory here is its only a 10 team league so I have to gain advantages to win. I think Rodgers, Brees, Manning gives you an adv at QB. I think Graham gives you a huge adv at TE. Gronk- if healthy- the same.

Dez and A. Brown would be a great duo at WR. / As far as RB- after about 3 or 4 it gets a little dicey. Picking here I cant afford to miss.

Like I always say to you on these threads, the scoring system is the key to who you pick. If it isn't a PPR that certainly changes things. Also, just realized it was a 10 team league which changes things a little too.

I expect a lot of catches from Murray this year. Big fantasy year for him IMO.

It's actually a 40 team league broken into 4 divisions. It heavily favors Qbs. This will be the 4rth year of league. So yes each player can be on 4 different teams. Bree's has been on all 12 teams possible in the 3 years of the league. Of those 12 teams, 10 have made playoffs. Bree's will put up around 420 points a yr. if you don't get one of those top 3 Qbs, the Romo's will score about 330 a year.

The top 5 Wrs will be around 200

Top Rbs 250 to 275. Murray had about 200 last yr. 1 pt for every 10. 6 for td.

I'm thinking with Rogers I can get 380. And DEz 200. The thing is at 30 31. I could get. Cobb and brown who can also get 200.

No ppr - I tend to seek TDs and Denver is at the top of the list for those. I would roll with Ball and see what he can do. Its a little leap of faith that could pay huge dividends.
