According to Gill he was cut on the back of the leg by Kunitz's skate....There's no way he doesn't play tonight....I like the Hab's chances with him in the line-up...without him?....not so much...

He'll naturally play tonight. It's the playoffs. Besides, it's not like Hal Gill's game is based on speed. A cut on the leg won't hinder him from playing his physical game and blocking shots. He'll be in the lineup, and you won't even be able to tell he was injured.

I disagree, I think the NHL needs a team to come back from a 3-0 deficit again. What could bring more excitement to the league than that?

Maybe it will light a fire under Gill if he looks at the bench and sees that he could be replaced by a one legged man.

I don't know what the deal with that is. According to a few articles I read they mentioned that several players have played with a torn ACL, but the article didn't mention who.

I could see a guy playing on a torn ACL if he's purely a powerplay quarterback who just needs to rip the puck. But Markov is needed for defense, which means lateral movement, and that's just nearly impossible on a torn ACL. I cannot see him being back in the lineup, and if he is, I cannot see him being effective.

yea markov is done. tearing an acl is at least a couple months. it could even be up to 10 months. hal gill might play although i heard he was not going to.

Rod Woodson tore his ACL in the season opener in 1995...they said he was done for the season...but he did it make it back that year....in the Super Bowl...and he wasn't 100% either..
