KC's Yordano Ventura led MLB w/ avg fastball of 96.8 MPH this season.

Giants led MLB with .284 BA vs 95+ MPH pitches. (incl. playoffs)

I like that Peavy has recent experience pitching in the American League. I think we get to young pitcher and win this one 6-3. And if Peavy struggles, Bochy will be quick to get him out of there in favor of Petit.

Our guys, especially Posey, Pence and Pablo seem to hit flame throwers really well. I'm not too worried about the fact that this guy is this season's velocity leader. I think we work the count on this young pitcher and have him out of the game by the fifth inning.

Watching the pre-game show on CSN Bay Area and it was stated that if KC has to go to the pen early Vargas (the game 4 starter) will be the long relief man. Here's to getting in the pen early, real early.

Just because...

Yesterday on KNBR, they were talking about World Series ratings and someone said, "I don't care if anybody else watches the World Series as long as Clayton Kershaw is watching." LOL. Someone else quickly pointed out that Kershaw is probably out hunting somewhere instead of watching baseball.

He won Baseball America's Player of the Year so he should be back in town to accept the award. Not like he has to be anywhere important.

So guys, don't know if you know this but FOX shared it. Royals hitters kill fastballs and Peavy.... as for Giants bats versus fastball pitchers like Yordano....appears that stat doesn't exist. They'll probably strike out every at bat

These broadcasters jinxing the Giants fastball hitting early? Hah.

Edit: And Joe Buck looks like a mummy.

Do the Giants have a good record when they score first? I have no idea. Does anyone here track that kind of stuff?

Who the FLOCK is leading off for the Giants, and where did Gregor Blanco go? I'll tell you where he went - he went YARD.
