My biggest worry this postseason: the bullpen.

Followed by: starting pitching.

Two areas I didn't worry about in 2010.

Zeets on his way to his 15th win of the season. Solid, solid outing. Six innings, one run, only one walk. Bochy better NOT send him out in the 7th, though!

Zeets has not won more than 10 games in a season with the Giants. He last won as many as 16 in 2006, his last year with the A'ssssssssssss.

It is funny. His numbers from last year are almost exactly his numbers this year, extrapolated out. WHIP = 1.40 each season. Homers are a little less this year. But his ERA is 4.10 compared to 5.87 last season.

Nice turn around by Zeets!

Didn't like this when I first saw it. Like it even less now.

Whether we win this game (we will), or not, the deal is that by sending Zeets out there with 96 pitches, when he folds at 100 pitches, and has all season, this has just given the Dodgers reason to believe. Up until the HBP of Either/Or, they were dead, dead, dead I tell you. Now they think they can win.

Add this to your list, GP.

I think we will see our pitching ramp it up in the postseason

Why?: Remember our concern with the offense before the playoffs. Then they went crazy hot. I hope for that with pitching

Damn, huge mistake by Ellis. Pablo better be careful with his 3B blocking or one of these days he's going to get his ankle broken.

Fuck you Mota.

putting fat can syrup Mota was brilliant, letting Zito pitch the 7th was ingenious, letting Zito hit was making up a fake substance website, thinking it would pass smart

Totally agree. If the Dodgers pull this out, and somehow manage to make it to the real post-season, they'll be on an incredible run of ten straight wins to close.

Smart sarcastic... Smart sarcastic... Dumb sarcastic...

So following your trend, you thought Zeets hitting for himself was actually smart?

This is what sucks. A tight game in the 7th, and we're putting our faith in Mota and Kontos. If Wilson was the closer, you might have Casilla in there relieving Zito. This is why I am concerned.

But I hope you're right. You just never know how the playoffs will turn out. Just look at the last two teams to win the whole thing. Who would have thought?
