A useful idiot.
10,000!
Well, I did it, bitches. God, so many people to thank...
I want to thank my insomnia. It allows me to post late at night when more productive citizens than myself are probably resting and performing better at work the next day. I want to thank my student loans, which keep me at my home some days and nights when I could be out paying for overpriced drinks, playing golf, chatting with friends, or possibly getting laid. I want to thank the Washington Capitals, who have offered me nothing but pain, misery, and frustration for nearly three decades. And where better to go to have all those feelings compounded and re-visited over and over again than at Sports SportsHoopla.
But seriously, thanks to those that led the charge here from ESPN (I was a newbie to the Swamp NHL boards so it was nice to get an invite), the mods who run this place, and the many of you whose posts I sincerely appreciate and enjoy reading. I've learned so much more about hockey, I have less disdain for some of the teams I dislike (damn you reasonable Flyers and Pens fans!), and I appreciate the game more.
Cheers!
