Methinks the Pens are rounding into form. All four lines generating chances, good puck possession, reliable D and Vokoun shutting the door when breakdowns happen.

Meanwhile, the Senators look a little worn out.

I think he came back when the risk of re-injury was minimal, but he's definitely nowhere near 100%.

His problem is conditioning and being in game shape. Technically, he came back too late.

He'd be hitting his stride in about two weeks.

Yeah, hard to find any fault in the game. Bruins are at that point too. Next series will be the best of the year, no doubt.

I really don't think it matters. The Pens and Bruins both seem to be rolling.

I think that's the only way the Pens get any advantage but I am with you, I think it ends tomorrow. Going to be a tough series for both teams.

Agreed! They over achieved in all aspects. Nothing to be ashamed of in Ottawa. Everyone, including their fans, understandably were ready to throw in the towel after Karlsson got injured. The have a lot to be proud of and will only get better.

Good series, Sens. I think they were a little out-matched, and just a little out-worked by the end. But hopefully they can come back healthy next year, add a few pieces, and compete. Hopefully Alfie sticks around, he still has a lot to offer. (Motivational quotes notwithstanding)

I'd rather Boston wins so the Pens can keep momentum going. They actually started playing better once Byslma reduced practices. I think too much time off / thinking can be a detriment to a team like this.
