well, all 3 times the Pens have won the Cup I was out of the country...deployed on Med cruises in ' 91 and '92, in London in '09...and I'm currently in sunny, beautiful Kandahar, so....


of course, to be fair (yeah, that's right!), I was in Italy from '01-'04 and we all know how well that worked out for the Pens

yeah, it's pretty much a shithole...youknow, kinda like philly, just with a nicer class of people (I keed, I keed)....

but while it really is a shithole, it's such a strange place...hard to discribe really. one strange thing is everyone, and I mean everyone, walks around armed....with the all the dust and dirt, I feel like I'm in some twisted, modern wild west reality at times
