I mean, 1-8 matchups look like this usually. That's why I don't mind the play in tournament, it really doesn't matter who the 7 and 8 seeds are.
Sure, I agree. I was just using this series as an example why I don't have a problem with the play in tournament. Miami would beat Cleveland or Charlotte too.Definitely not expected for a 8 to win.
But the Hawks did make a run last year. But I mostly mean Heat are a bad match up cause they are just so well rounded.
Young is obviously a player. But to beat a team like Miami I think you gotta have more top end talent.
I don’t see ATL winning more than one. They don’t have a good enough defense, you need to play physical with a team like Miami to have any chanceThey were. Cleveland length would had gave Miami problems.
Still early. Winning game 1 at home doesn't mean much in the long run
Get a top 6 seed next year lolThe excuses lmao.
Maybe try to finish in the top 6 so you dont have to worry about things like this
I watched the Sixers blow 2 20+ point 2nd half leads to the Hawks last year. Playoff time I don’t call off the dogs until there’s 2-3 minutes left. Just keep playing your game in my opinion.Up 30 and you have your stars in. Come on man.

And when these guys turn that switch off it isn’t like it’s easy to just click it on again at a moment’s notice. No back to backs in the playoffs and they usually allow for travel days as series shift.Yeah playoffs is different. Not the time to go easy just because you're up 30 late in the 3rd. If go deep into your bench at that point and they cut the lead to 15 or under by the 6 min mark of the 4th then guess who will have to close the game?
Kyle Lowry is North Philly dirty
That’s why he’s so good at his craft. He has that plausible deniability. But you know that roll is about taking out the legs. It is what it is and that edge is why he’s good. There have been tons of dirty players through the years they make the game go round.First one is whatever. 2nd one? The ball is loose and he went for it. Nba should just restrict diving if you find a problem with that. People are going to dive for loose balls. Give me a break
Tell you what, Trae is a whiney baby. He is becoming unlikeable still very early in his career.
I mean almost every great defender in the 90's or 00's was "dirty" lolThat’s why he’s so good at his craft. He has that plausible deniability. But you know that roll is about taking out the legs. Watching this 1Q and Strus embodies this. Miami organization has turned him into a player. He is even flashing at the defensive end now and not just a shooter off the bench. Guys come to Miami with maybe one NBA level skill and they just build a well rounded player.
