I predicted there would be one game where Dwight just tears them a new ass.
I don't know why Houston ignores him

When he is the focus on offense and defense, Golden State has no answer.
He is treating the Warriors big men like little girls tonight.

But I guessed it would only happen one time at best. Then the team would ignore him and he would pout.

...........

but the game is still far from over. The Ws are hanging around.

They don't ignore him. He's the problem. He shuts down when the offense isn't going through him. But he better get used to that because that's the rest of his career.

He's a bum. 20 million+ against the cap for what he brings? He'd be solid as a bench guy with about 20 minutes a game but he's not a player you can feature in an offense. Half of it is his legs and half of it is his head.
There's no way Howard is a bench guy.. Houston is a terrible fit for him. He goes to the right team and he looks like his former self.

He needs to be a focal point and he also needs a true PG. with Harden handling the ball most the time Howard stood no chance.

If he could accept his roll as a rebounder/defender that doesn't get many looks on offense then yes, he's a starter. If he thinks that his game justifies running an offense through the post then he's delusional.

Replace Howard with Deandre on the Clippers and that would be amazing.

LOL! Why do you think he doesn't get looks? It's because he doesn't hustle. And great players figure out a way to get buckets when they aren't getting the looks. He's just a prima donna that got paid. And his lower body has always been a problem. He's buffed up stairs but his legs aren't something to brag about.

I would take Howard. He can still be a dominant all-NBA guy.
He plays great defense and can dominate the post.

He is best when he has a true point guard feeding him and a bunch of shooters to kick back to..

He has sucked when he is with Kobe and Harden taking all the shots.
It was never going to work with a ball hogging guard like Harden. That is a terrible fit for him.

He never touches the ball for long stretches, and then he gets all pouty and stops defending as well.

I'm glad you're not a GM. You watch Golden State for 2 years and now you're a genius. :L

Beasley, a notorious pot head, was happy there was no game yesterday on 4/20. The national holiday for potheads.....

Never mind

I know exactly what you meant.
Geez.
And, many of these guys are potheads, Beasley just was never very discreet about it.

Livingston is just instant bucket in the mid-range. This is the ideal player off the bench.

Also I bet Howard can't tell whether half of these shots by Houston are alleyoops to him or floaters. I can't.
