Boston hasn't lost on the road thru the playoffs IIRC? Should be interesting. Something has to give.Indy hasnt lost at home in 2 months. Wont be easy to stop them from holding serve

The who?In case any of you were dismissive of the #1 seed in the East, Dwight Howard has a thought to consider…
if the celtics sweep, number 18 will hang in the garden next year.Boston hasn't lost on the road thru the playoffs IIRC? Should be interesting. Something has to give.
its rare for NBA teams to come back from double digits in the 2nd half in Boston usually.Anyone else found it weird how Indy just quit on the game after the 3rd?
Doesn’t mean you just quit with 12 minutes to go. They were down 17. Not 47its rare for NBA teams to come back from double digits in the 2nd half in Boston usually.

I didn't see it as "quit" personally... rather, Indy's weakness is on defense, and they're really struggling to string stops together against one of the better offensive teams in the league.Doesn’t mean you just quit with 12 minutes to go. They were down 17. Not 47
With the pace they play, they could have possibly made it interesting had they cut that lead in half by the 7 min mark then at least they would make Boston sweat

it did,nt help the Celtics were really clicking either.I didn't see it as "quit" personally... rather, Indy's weakness is on defense, and they're really struggling to string stops together against one of the better offensive teams in the league.
haliburton was struggling with the hammy too.the old formula was 10 points in 2 minutes with at least 2 and timely fouls … although he played for the Celtics when they perfected that, Carlisle seems to have given up on working the clock
…yeah, and a chest injury too from colliding with Brown in the 1st halfhaliburton was struggling with the hammy too.
I will be very surprised if Indy wins both games at home.
After what happened game 1, this looks like a 5 game series to me. Indy had their chance to make it a long series and they blew it.
Big underdogs can’t afford to give away games like that on the road.
I think the Celtics will be hard to beat if they get by the pacers.Completely agree that’s ultimately what I think happens.
Just saying they are red hot at home so hope is still there.
But yeah, they needed game 1

gotta put at least some blame on the coach … both games could’ve been better handledI went to sleep after the 3rd quarter. So I guess I quit too.
But it looked like Indy starters barely played after that.
Which is crazy. I get it for a regular season game, but not the playoffs.
Porzingis is coming back for game 4, isn't he?Boston also has Xavier Tillman on the bench as an extra big... he might be better backing up Al than Kornet in this match-up vs Indy (assuming Porzingis stays out).
Maybe.Porzingis is coming back for game 4, isn't he?
