I now think Iowa should be above KU. Iowa has same record, common opponent advantage, and just as tough (if not tougher) SOS.

It's really crazy. They started the week 20th. Lost at home to an NIT caliber team(at the moment) and beat the worst ACC team.

1981 - 3rd seed - lost to #6 Wichita State (1st game but 2nd round)

Iowa has been a 1 before but not since tourney went to 64 in 83. I think a 2 seed is our best since expansion

Yeah pretty crazy, they were only 10-8 against the B1G that year. Iowa wasn't even ranked going into the tourney that year.
