Is Tyler Austin still on the roster or they sent him down when they brought up Bird?

easy
baseball wasnt an olympic sport then, it was a "demonstration sport" that year. it didnt count towards medal counts.
so...thats why n stuff.
so, like i saidThey still gave out Gold Medals to the winners, they just didn't count towards the country's medal count.
You 99%ers!
Ed Sprague won a College World Series with Stanford, won an Olympic Gold Medal in baseball 1988, and won two World Series with the Blue Jays.
@Rock Strongo How come you didn't count him for your question?
so, like i said
5 guys have won an official gold medal at the olympics and a word series.
the medals you speak of are considered unofficial.
Now if Stanton made the same offer, that would be something.
well, the giants are ready to throw everything at them.No Stanton isn't going anywhere

Well they still have to field a team, especially their pitching... Heck Samardzija and his 4.67 ERA leads the team
No mention of Buxtons 3 homer game in the OP makes this thread an embarrassment
Stanton finally having the big season everyone has been predicting for him for the last seven years. His biggest problem is staying in the lineups. He has averaged only 121 games a year in his six full seasons in the majors. He averaged one homerun every four games so going by his average, he's lost about 60 career homeruns due to injuries. Add that to the 258 he already has and he would have 318 homeruns. And the dude is only 27 years old.No Stanton isn't going anywhere

Put him in a big market and he will sell seats. He's big enough for the Giants but I'm not sure the Giants are big enough for him. I think he ultimately ends up in a huge market where he can double his income through endorsements. Dodgers, Fraudkees, Cubs, Mets, Angels. I just don't see the Giants in the mix long term but maybe on a short term basis.and that would hurt him getting a major contract, no? But IF he were to be moved, Dodgers, MAYBE Giants or Yankees will snatch him up
