It's just our turn to be the team everyone thought would be competitive and instead sucks. It happens.

And it's not all Whiteside's fault this time. Didn't we have an ok record when Bum went down? I blame him for a lot of this.
I know that it happens. Just interesting to compare and contrast the two teams.

They weren't that great when Bumgarner went down. The team record was 6-10 (.375) when they rolled into Colorado. They are 18-26 (.409) since then. The question would be, how many more games would they have won with him pitching every 5th day?

Not just that though. If Bum is here you have his wins plus you can dump Cain. And it just cursed the team I think, changed the vibe, whatever. It's just a bad year.

Cain has shit the bed his last hand full of starts, but up until then, he has pitched well. If Bum had not gone down, Blach never would have gotten his shot in the rotation.

I am not certain Bum going down has cost this team many wins at all.

I was about to post something like this. Cain would be the 5th starter and Blach is either in the bullpen or in AAA.

It's going to be tough to watch this team for awhile, but hopefully at some point we can start seeing some of the young guys flourish as we eye the future. Give Posey a little bit of a break more often too.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing Posey get more rest this year. This will serve two desired outcomes...

1) Reduces the miles on him in a non-competitive year

2) Showcases Hundley for a potential deadline trade

Let's not forget Blach looks like a 4-5 type starter here, Kirk Reuter AT BEST.

Bumgarner pissed off Jobu.
