Nate hits lefties better than he does righties. But I'd like to see him get a look in center. Probably not going to happen with the Giants though. For some reason they've been reluctant to play him there - even in exhibition games.

I suspect that has been more political than anything else. He is +++ in Right, and RoRo is a +++ bitch, so everyone is right where they belong.

You'd think getting him some time in CF would increase his trade value. But maybe not, or perhaps any supposed increase would be so minor as to not be worth the hassle.

Unfortunately, that is what I expect.

Ramon Ramirez has been huge so far this game.

Solid win. A couple of nits to pick -- RoRo looks like he's reverting to form; those strikeouts look AWFUL. I was a little disappointed with the hitters approach the second time through the lineup -- we gave Hudson a couple of VERY quick innings and didn't get into the bullpen early. Affeldt didn't look good; OTOH RamRam looked great.

I'm in Phoenix and am trying to source a couple of tickets to tonights game....if I can be done with the depos in time.
