I would prefer him at AAA as a starter. He should be the first or second option for a rotation replacement instead of the sparely used bullpen guy.

But this is a minor issue in a nice start to the season.

A very confusing play...bases loaded no outs and one pitch later the inning was over. Took 20 minutes to process.

While I agree with you 100% ... I would personally take Aaron Judge (For 150 games) over any pitcher in baseball today. But ... as you said .... for us it's always going to be pitching and defense. Pretty difficult to realize that if we win 100 games we still may be about 15 or more games behind the doggies ... guess that is what happens when you upgrade the offense... and the pitching as well ... but the playoffs are still a crap shoot .... getting there is the adventure ...

We can never sign those guys though, is my point. This is the way we win titles. Maybe we can get lucky and draft and develop a guy like that but it’s really unlikely. Bryce Aldridge doesn’t look like he’s that level, for example.
