Not the kinda start we were looking forward to and it could get worse with the up coming schedule. We know they are better then thier record but when will they "get it together" so to speak???? Is missing Kimmo that much of a factor or is it something else???

I think missing Timonen & Coburn is for sure a factor. Now they're without Lacavalier & possibly Grossmann. Injuries & a tough schedule to start the season are probably the 2 biggest reasons for the slow start.

0-2-2 is really like being 1-3. I don't think this is as bad a start as it looks considering the injuries & schedule.

They could get Braydon Coburn back in Dallas so that will help

Rangers only have two points as well and the Flyers are only two points behind 3rd place in the division so it's not the worst in the world

Just need to get a win in Dallas

We can sugar coat it any way we like but the problem is that so far, we are not a good team. I have not seen a solid 60 minute effort in the 1st 4 games. This team, the way its built, will have to out work most of the opponents. When you take off the 1st 10 minutes and last 10 minutes of a game, disaster is waiting around the corner.

Yep they need to relearn how to play like a team. That’s when they started winning last year. Also fitness played a part last year. Once they decide to play they look pretty good!

Yep it's a team effort - they need to play like a team - do that and they'll have success

I do think Timonen and Coburn are very much underrated and we would welcome back either of them. However, other guys such as MacDonald and MDZ are beginning to step up in their absence.

It is more than just Coburn, Kimmo and the loss of Mez.

Grossman is a warrior but he is slow as traffic on the Vine St at rush hour. Luke Schenn is not a lot quicker and looks like he has taken another step backwards. How much is not having a steady partner and or the Flyers not having the best back checking RW's is another question. Coburn is a fine 2/3 player and so is Streit. That is the real problem. This current blue line crew is simply place holders. Everyone and their senile aunt know that in the next two years we will see an influx of young blood on the blue line from within. It is really more a matter of hanging on and being patient.

The thing is, the Flyers had built their defense around Chris Pronger and if it wasn't for his injury, these guys would be great 2-3-4 d-men - the Flyers have a real strong group of 2-3-4 guys but no number one and not having a number one really hurts
